Aprés Ski, Restaurants and Hotels
Have you ever been to Schladming? It’s one of the best places to go in winter. They have the best ski run’s and also amazing places to have typical Austrian food. It’s Lisas favorite place to go skiing in Winter, so she’s there quite often. That’s why we thought it would be amazing to show you the best locations for Aprés Ski, Dinner and Hotels of course.
Après Ski in Schladming
Well after skiing, you should definitely go to a Aprés Ski Party. It’s like Ballerman in Mallorca or partying in Ibiza – but in the snow. The Planai run offers you some opportunities for Apré Ski like Almrausch and Schafalm directly on the run. Or Platzhirsch and Hohenhaus Tenne at the bottom station of Planai. Booking a table in advance is recommended during the season, but you can also just go there and hope to get a table. At the most Aprés Ski places you can also get lunch like Germknödel and many other yummy things.
Dinner in Schladming
After a long skiing day, having a good dinner is the best we can imaging. Because if you want to go partying after it’s worth it. Some hotels offer dinner directly in their restaurant whats a great opportunity, but if not you could go to Gasthof Hotel Kirchenwirt – they have amazing Austrian food. We also love the food at Stadtbräu Schladming and Restaurant Schattleitter. All of them are directly in Schladming, so you don’t have to take the car or taxi. These offer Austrian/typical Styrian Food – you can also get some Pizza and Pasta at the Restaurant Wintergarten – which tastes amazing.
Hotels in Schladming
Unfortunately there plenty of good places to stay, but there are also plenty different price categories. The one’s we are recommending are all middle class hotels as skiing is very expensive now a days and for sure you won’t spend the whole days in your room. Hotel Die Barbara, JUFA Hotel and Hotel Planai are directly at the bottom station of Planai and they offer great rooms for amazing prices. If you travel in bigger groups I recommend you to book an apartment as they have amazing places in Schladming directly on http://www.booking.com
We hope you have now some impressions about Schladming and the „hotspots“.
